Identifying congregational songs that have an abiding impact on faith development and community life

Welcome! Thank you for joining the energy around renewing a collection of songs and worship resources for Mennonite Church Canada and Mennonite Church USA. We are eager to hear from you!
In 2016, with excitement and anticipation, the Mennonite Worship and Song Committee began developing a new collection designed to succeed Hymnal: A Worship Book (1992), and supplements Sing the Journey (2005), and Sing the Story (2007). This new collection will take into account the breadth of the Mennonite Church, the diverse ways Mennonites sing and worship, and will be available in bound and digital formats. This new song collection is to be owned by, and available throughout the denominations.
Information about the call for new and original content can be found here.
The purpose of this survey is to study the intersection of congregational singing with faith formation, and to reveal essential songs that contribute to a living canon within community life.

Please respond to prompts that feel relevant to your ministry or community.

For most questions, please limit your responses to songs that you would urge the committee to consider including in a new collection.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this important information gathering!
