About the Forum
CAPHIA represent thousands of public health educators, researchers, practitioners and students across Australasia. Our annual Teaching and Learning Forum is our flagship event, providing opportunities for our community of practice to come together to create education which equips the public health workforce with the skills and knowledge required to improve the public’s health, and tackle current and future challenges.
The 2025 Teaching and Learning Forum is hosted by the University of Technology Sydney and co-chaired by A/Prof Deborah Debono and Dr Daniel Demant.
Forum Theme and Streams
Contemporary public health challenges require collaborative solutions, and future-proofing the public health workforce means developing professionals and future leaders who can perform in the face of complexity and uncertainty. This year's theme is "Public Health Education in a changing world".
