Center Us: A Native Youth Survey

The Center for Native American Youth at the Aspen Institute and Casey Family Programs are conducting this survey in order to understand the needs of Native youth to better inform CNAY and other systems and organizations seeking to include youth in their programming.

 

You have the option to participate in this survey because of your lived experience as a Native youth. We are including only Native youth aged 18 to 24 years old. Participating in this project is entirely voluntary. It is your choice to participate or not. If you choose to participate, you can stop the survey at any time and for any reason. You do not need to answer any question that makes you feel uncomfortable. If you choose not to participate in the project, it will not affect your status or relationship with the Center for Native American Youth or Casey Family Programs.

 

We anticipate the survey taking approximately 12 minutes to complete. Findings from the surveys will be summarized in a report for the Center for Native American Youth in Fall of 2023. The report will also be shared with Casey Family Programs and The Research for Indigenous Social Action and Equity Center. Beyond helping to improve services for children and families, you will receive the opportunity to be entered into a raffle to win various gifts that represent Indigenous culture for your participation. 

 

This survey will help inform our report on the needs of Native youth. The report may describe the information you and other survey respondents provide, but your responses will be kept anonymous and no personal identifying information will be included. The information you provide will be used only for the purposes of this project, but we may have to share this information if it is required by law or if you make a threat to harm yourself or someone else. All information from this survey will be stored securely and will be destroyed one year after project completion.
