1. Welcome to our survey.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on our preliminary plans to meet our community’s increasing demands for sports, fitness, and recreational services and facilities.

The Carbon Valley Parks & Recreation District was established in 1983 and serves a 45-mile geographic boundary that encompasses about 36,000 residents today in the Towns of Dacono, Firestone, and Frederick and serves the surrounding rural communities. The population in this part of Colorado continues to grow with no slowdown in sight and our current recreation center in Frederick is at capacity. In fact, when the recreation center was built the combined population of our communities was only about 10,000.

We hear from our members and patrons often about what else they’d like to see, so we launched a Feasibility Study in 2019 to formalize a process to gather input and determine what’s possible. This 11-question survey, which should take less than 10 minutes to complete, will focus on the top three recommendations that came out of the Study, which was finalized in early 2019.

Be sure to complete the survey and provide your email address for a chance to be entered into a random drawing for a 20 punch card pass to the rec center!
