Our programs require responsible, mature adults, who are creative and flexible, function well as part of a team, and are able to maintain stamina over a long period of time. Each staff member must be skilled at group living and must be able to work well with children and adults in all kinds of situations. An energetic, positive staff member who demonstrates good judgment and exhibits solid leadership skills is an essential ingredient in providing a good experience for campers. In considering applicants, it is vital in the screening process to have as much information as possible. It is important that counselors and others on the camp staff enjoys and understand children, work well with other adults, and have a real love of outdoor living.
