Log of Claims Survey | Tell us what is important to you

The Charters Towers Regional Council Enterprise Agreement will be negotiated shortly.

It is important for you have a say in your enterprise bargaining agreement and your future conditions of employment.

Please take the time to complete the ENTERPRISE BARGAINING SURVEY and keep updated on what is happening with your future agreement through the AWU.
Your AWU Delegates Andrew Edmondson and Ron Brennan have developed a draft log of claims based on your feedback:
  1. That the current agreement inclusive is the Starting Document;
  2. A pay rise that is sufficient in that it makes up for wages compounding from the last pay rise given and projecting into the years of the agreement which will be given a percentage figure commensurate with members guidance from this survey. In other words we ask for what we missed and we ask for a decent pay rise going forward;
  3. Allowances to increase with the percentage increases of the agreement, and be back paid accordingly;
  4. No loss of current conditions;
  5. Inclusion of Domestic Violence clause; and
  6. Volunteers, SES, and Rural Fire Brigade Volunteers to be released on full pay and entitlements and suffer no loss of any conditions as a result of their activities.
We'd like to know your thoughts on this draft log of claims, plus other issues.
