Introduction

The Canadian Society of Association Executives uses a competency-based model for board recruitment and selection.
 
This process provides the board with a deep insight into what skills the individual board members (or board applicants) possess and the skills the board requires.

Your responses will assist the board to identify competency gaps which guide recruitment of new directors. For applicants who are applying to join the board, the competency assessment will be used by the nominating committee as part of its screening process to determine who to move forward to the Slate of Nominees for presentation to the members.
