Background: At CSAB’s annual Computing Accreditation Workshop, CS, DS, IS, IT, Cybersecurity, and general computing faculty and administrators learn the ins and outs of preparing for a Computing Accreditation Commission/ABET visit:
  • Purpose and content of the self-study
  • Benefit of an ABET readiness review
  • Best practices in display materials
  • Understanding accreditation criteria and terminology
  • Planning visit logistics
It is traditionally a day-long, in-person event led by experienced team chairs and program evaluators. It is very interactive, featuring case studies and lengthy Q&A and discussion periods. The fee is $150.
