Question Title

* 1. CDSD is investigating the idea of reorganizing elementary school calendars by changing from marking periods to trimesters.  There are three main differences based on the two proposed 19-20 calendars on the district website: (1) Moving from 4 report cards (10/29, 1/17, 3/26, 6/4) to 3 report cards (11/19, 3/4, 6/4). (2) Extending the amount of time students and teachers have before grades are due (46 days per marking period vs. 61 or 62 days per Trimester). (3) The timing of parent/teacher conferences (11/6, 7 & 1/27, 28 vs. 11/25, 26 & 3/11, 12). How do you feel about these proposed changes?
