Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvement Prioritization Evaluation Criteria |
Introduction
Washington County’s Department of Land Use and Transportation received a grant from the Department of Energy to help plan for a complete bike and pedestrian system. The planning work is scheduled to be completed by October, 2012.
Outcomes of the planning work include the development of a recommended subset of 20-50 high priority bike and pedestrian projects with specific definitions and costs. Note, the planning work doesn't include funds for construction of these projects, but, over time, the County will seek funding from a variety of sources for the priority projects.
By completing this survey you will be providing important input on how the County identifies and prioritizes bicycle and pedestrian improvement projects that, once funded and constructed, will increase the safety and efficiency of the overall transportation system.
