1. COVID-19 MASSACHUSETTS BUSINESSES AND WORKFORCE IMPACT SURVEY

Survey Background: As a result of the COVID 19 health crisis the cannabis and hemp industry, including both companies and workers, have been dramatically impacted. On March 24, Governor Baker deemed adult-use cannabis non-essential in Massachusetts. Medical dispensaries are allowed to continue to operate as essential services. No federal or state funding is available for cannabis or hemp businesses to help them through COVID-19.

Survey Goal: To collect information from medical cannabis, adult-use cannabis, and hemp companies in Massachusetts about the impact of the COVID-19 health crisis has had on their business and workforce. Data collected through this study will be analyzed and shared with policy makers and other relevant stakeholders. Data will also be used to inform future educational programming.

Participation in this survey should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete.

This study has been approved by the UMass Dartmouth Institutional Review Board. Please contact Dr. Marion McNabb, Principal Investigator if you have any questions: marion@c3researchnetwork.com
