The Ann MacLean Award for Outstanding Service by a Woman/Non-Binary Person in Municipal Politics recognizes retired municipal politicians who have shown exemplary service to their community and constituents, and leadership in mentoring other elected women/non-binary people, or those who want to run.
The award is named in honour of FCM Past President Ann MacLean, who led FCM's campaign to increase the number of women in municipal politics across Canada.
Only nominations of women and non-binary people who are no longer actively serving will be considered.
Applications will be accepted until May 17th, 2024 at 23:59 EDT.
The award winner will be recognized at FCM's 2024 Annual Conference in Calgary.
