Help plan for a new performing arts centre in Barrie

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding the proposed performing arts centre in Barrie. This survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will provide valuable feedback for the Performing Arts Centre Task Force as it plans for the facility.

On March 22, 2021, Barrie City Council created the Performing Arts Centre Task Force in response to the decision to close the Georgian Theatre and not to proceed with renovating the Fisher Auditorium, highlighting the need for a new performing arts facility in Barrie. The Performing Arts Centre Task Force is serving as a working group to plan for a modern performing arts facility to replace the Georgian Theatre and Fisher Auditorium.

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted arts and culture activities and changed, at least temporarily, the way people have been engaging in arts and culture. Please fill out the survey with the assumption that gathering limits and performances will return to a pre-COVID state.

The survey closes Sunday, October 31.

Thank you!
