INTRODUCTION

The CIP Annual Report functions as a final reporting component for the FY16 CIP grant, and as an application component for FY17 Portfolio funding.

The deadline for submission of the CIP Annual Report is June 1, 2016, 11:59PM, EDT. Grantees that have not completed this requirement by June 1, 2016 will receive a “Hold” on their FY17 grant.

The CIP Annual Report is in addition to the CIP 2016/2017 Funder Report, generated through the DataArts (formerly Cultural Data Project) system, which is also due June 1, 2016, 11:59PM, EDT.

Refer to FY17 CIP Guidelines (PDF) for more information on application requirements and deadlines.

The CIP Annual Report will ask you to confirm ongoing eligibility, and includes a few statistical data points which the National Endowment for the Arts requires the MCC to collect from grantees. It also includes a section where you are able to complete the Advocacy Report and Credit & Publicity Confirmation, if you have yet to do so for FY16.

The CIP Annual Report contains:
  • Affirmation of eligibility
  • Demographic questions required by the NEA
  • Advocacy Report (if you have not already entered separately)
  • Credit & Publicity Confirmation (included in advocacy section)
  • OPTIONAL questions, about stories & services

If you have questions about completing this report, please be in touch with your CIP staff contact.
