2019 RIS CIO of the Year Nomination Form

Welcome to the nomination process for the RIS News 2019 CIO of the Year Awards, a prestigious award program that recognizes executives for excellence in retail technology.

This year’s awards program features four categories: Innovation, Strategic Impact, Customer Experience, and CIO of the Year. In addition, RIS will be inducting its third annual class into the RIS’ Hall of Fame

RIS accepts retailer nominations from technology vendors, consultants and retailers. A judge's panel consisting of RIS staff, retailers and consultants will review each nomination and the winners will be announced in October.

Except for the CIO of the Year Award, individuals do not need to hold the title of CIO to be considered. The Hall of Fame is open to both current and former retail executives, consultants and solution providers that have advanced retail IT through the use of innovative strategies and leading-technologies over long and distinguished careers.

RIS Hall of Fame – The RIS News Hall of Fame honors individuals who have led major technology projects and initiatives that have embodied innovation, advanced strategies and leading-edge technologies and moved the industry forward throughout long and distinguished retail careers. The Hall of Fame is open to retailers, analysts and vendors alike.
