It is critical for the Colorado Historical Foundation to understand our audience, any future or potential audiences and the impact we are having throughout the state. To this end, we ask that you provide your feedback through this survey.

Established in 1965, The Colorado Historical Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization, originally conceived to complement the Colorado Historical Society’s and other entities’ efforts to commemorate, preserve, document and interpret the state's rich history. The spirit of statewide collaboration and support infuses our core programs today: Preservation loans, fund stewardship, project support services, and conservation easements on historic properties. Staff often characterizes the organization’s services as the “business side” of history and preservation. The current mission statement reads:
The mission of the Colorado Historical Foundation is to advance the study and preservation of Colorado history and historic properties by providing history-related organizations with financial services (including holding, investing and managing custodial accounts and endowments) and by selectively initiating its own history and preservation programs, including accepting and managing easements.
Through our work, many of Colorado's significant artifacts, buildings and sites are protected, rehabilitated, and revitalized to help future generations connect with the past. The programs and the funds we manage make it possible for Coloradans and visitors to access and explore Colorado's diverse layers of history through educational programs, experiences, places, stories, and objects. We partner with private parties, public agencies, nonprofit organizations, and informal coalitions to bring history to life.

Thank you for participating in our survey. Your feedback is important.
