Photography Competition Entry Form

Cork Food Policy Council is a non-profit organisation working towards a fairer, healthier, more sustainable food system. Cork Food Policy Council calls on photographers across Cork to capture an image which depicts the food system and reveals the complexity of such.

Entrants are asked to consider the following:

Food - where does it come from?
What's Cork eating, or what's eating Cork?
What could a sustainable food system look like?

Applicants, who must be Cork-based, are invited to submit a single photograph under one of the following categories:

1. Community

2. Cork Food

3. Food & Health

Shortlisted entries will form an exhibition that will be on display to the public as part of The Lifelong Learning Festival. This is a unique opportunity to exhibit your work in Cork City Library alongside others, telling a story of food in Cork.

Photographers who have submitted shortlisted photographs will be invited to attend a celebratory event in March and will be awarded prizes which include vouchers for Cork's English Market. One photograph will be selected by Photographer Giles Norman as recipient of the 'Giles Norman Selected Prize'.
