Application Information

To be considered for entry into the Fine Arts and Crafts Show, please complete the following form. You will also need to submit a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) digital images of your ORIGINAL work for review, along with an image of your booth display (if available). If you submit more than five (5) images, only the first 5 submissions will be considered. Images should be emailed to arts-crafts@columbiafestival.com in a digital format (JPEG preferred) and must be clearly labeled with your name and artwork name.

DEADLINE
The deadline for entries has passed but you can complete this waiting list application in case spaces become available.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- All artwork entered and included in the show must be the artist’s ORIGINAL work.
- Entries are reviewed by a panel on the basis of originality and quality of craftsmanship.
- All artwork must be for sale at the price range indicated on the entry form.
- Submission of this application constitutes an agreement with all conditions of this show and includes permission to use submitted images of accepted works for publicity purposes.
- Upon acceptance, as required by Maryland State law, exhibitor names and addresses will be submitted to the Maryland State Tax office. Artists that do not have a Maryland tax number will be issued a temporary permit (at no fee). For additional information, call Maryland State Tax Division at (410) 767-1543.

EVENT INFORMATION
- Show Dates & Times: Friday, June 14, 5 - 8 p.m., Saturday, June 15, Noon - 8 p.m., & Sunday, June 16, Noon - 7 p.m. Please note that all artists are required to participate Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during specified hours. No exceptions will be made.
- The Show Fee is $275 for all 3 days. Fee includes the rental of one (1) NFPA 701 Fire Code Certified 10’x10’ tent and four (4) sides. If using your own NFPA 701 Fire Code Certified 10’x10’ tent (Certification proof is required), you will receive a $75 credit towards the show fee, reducing it to $200.
- All artists are responsible for providing any display fixtures, tables, signage, etc.
- Electricity is additional and available on a limited (first come, first served) basis for a fee of $50.
- Load-in times will be assigned.

For artists selected to participate, the Festival will provide:
- An assigned 10’ x 10’ booth space
- One (1) NFPA 701 Fire Code Certified 10’x10’ tent and four (4) sides unless providing own certified tent (see above)
- Volunteers to assist with load-in and load-out and booth coverage during artist breaks, as available.
- Comprehensive promotion including paid advertising, flyers, brochures, interactive media & PR

Other Requirements:
- Extension Cords must be sized (minimum 16 gauges, grounded) to the device in use. ONLY extension cords rated for exterior use shall be used. Multiple strips/multi-plugs or extension cords shall not be chained together to form a longer service.
- Artists are required to have fire extinguishers at least size 2A 10BC conspicuously placed in their booth at all times.

Failure to comply with regulations will result in the vendor being prohibited from participation in future Columbia Festival of the Arts events.
