Background and Statement of Confidentiality

Steatotic (Fatty) Liver Disease, covering Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) and Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH), which were formerly known as Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) and Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH), remains the leading causes of chronic liver disease among adults in the United States. As part of our ongoing initiative, The State of Steatotic (Fatty) Liver Care in America, we are conducting an annual research survey to better understand the impact of these conditions on patients’ quality of life, medical management, and social support response.

We would like to invite you to participate in this year’s research study conducted by Wayne Eskridge and his research team at the Fatty Liver Foundation. Your participation in this study is entirely optional.

If you choose to participate, you will complete a survey designed to provide us with insights into the experiences of individuals living with steatotic (fatty) liver disease. The survey should take about 15 to 20 minutes to complete.

Please feel free to skip any questions you do not wish to answer or to stop the survey at any time. We would like to emphasize that your response will remain completely anonymous, and no one will be able to link your answers back to you. Please do not include your name or other information that could be used to identify you in the survey responses.

If you are interested in participating in this study, please proceed below to begin the survey. Your contribution will be invaluable to our research efforts. Thank you!
