Processing of tutor requests does not start until the end of the second full week of classes.

Tutor requests are processed once per week. You will be contacted by either a tutor or the Learning Skills Specialist. (Requests
are not processed on weekends and holidays or when the University is closed).

The Learning Skills Specialist makes every concerted effort to assign a tutor for your request. If a tutor is not available, s/he will check all resources to find a tutor or alternative. Know that this process may take longer as a result.

CARES will pay for one hour of tutoring per week per course. Knowing this, ensure that you utilize your professor's office hours or other learning/tutoring centers on campus for additional resources as well.
