2015 Trainer Network Application |
1. Project Overview
The CalSAC Trainer Network is a professional development and training project serving out-of-school time professionals across California. The goal of the Trainer Network is to build the training and facilitation skills of professionals in the field who, in turn, provide training to out-of-school time program staff, volunteers and administrators. CalSAC Trainers work in a variety of programs across the state, from rural to urban communities, school and community based programs, and serve the broad range of the child care and school-age field.
There are many benefits to becoming a CalSAC Trainer. As a trainer you will:
• Receive a 3-day intensive training institute
• Complete an endorsement process with support from a CalSAC Mentor by December 2015
• Gain access to more than 60 different training modules (https://calsac.org/training/browse_modules)
• Gain access to exclusive leadership and professional development opportunities
• Join a unique statewide community of professionals
There is no better time to join the CalSAC Trainer Network!
This year we're partnering with PG&E to bring Environmental Stewardship curricula and training alongside our existing CalSAC curricula.
