* 12. Terms and Conditions for Registration and Participation EducationUSA Tour in Ahmedabad & Bangalore, September 15-18, 2014

The registration deadline is August 15, 2014. In order to qualify for the regular registration fee, registration and payment must be received by this deadline.

Please note, there is a minimum of 10 institutions required to gain access to many of the schools as a mini-fair and tour, therefore, we will need to have 10 universities to be registered to operate this tour. In the event we have less, we may have to cancel, in which case, a full refund will be provided.

- Registration is not considered confirmed until payment has been processed.

Advisers from each center will contact you to provide information on transfer of funds.

The EducationUSA Advising Centers will:
• Arrange for high school visits in the their cities.
• Advertise and promote the visits to students, parents, school teachers, and counselors.
• Provide space at each mini-fair, a chair, bottled water and sign for each participating institution.
• Include institution profile distributed to all attendees.
• Arrange airport transfers and hotel bookings, if required, through their preferred travel partner. Please note that groups get better rates than individuals.
• NOT be responsible for any lost or damaged items.
• NOT be responsible for any mailed packages that may be stopped at customs, and will not perform any customs clearance activities.

Participating Institutions agree to the following:
• Participating institutions must hold U.S. Regional or National Accreditation. Verification may be requested. We reserve the right to refuse registration of any institution.
• Participants are responsible for their visas (if applicable), airline tickets, hotel reservations, and ground transfers.
• Participants are responsible for shipping materials with sufficient time for delivery. Please be aware of local customs issues. All printed materials and fair items should be sent to the addresses provided.

• Participation by agents is not permitted. We do not allow U.S. universities to be represented during any part of the tour by a local agent or comparable local representative (including alumni). We seek to have representatives from the U.S. visit and meet with our students, and your cooperation with this is appreciated. Additionally, If a participating representative plans to meet with an agent while in a host country, the meeting must be private and without media coverage or advertising during the duration and prior to the Tour. We appreciate your sensitivity to our need to avoid vying with other agencies or individuals for the credibility that your presence confers during what is an EducationUSA program.

• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received on or before August 20, 2014, will be given a full reimbursement. All cancellations after August 20, will not be reimbursed. Cancellations can only be made by sending an email to the adviser and/or REAC.

• No-show policy: No reimbursement. If materials have been received, they will be displayed without a representative at the table.

EducationUSA Bangalore and Ahmedabad will make every effort to include as many local high schools as is realistically possible on the itinerary. A school legend will be made available closer to the dates.

EducationUSA centers will not be responsible for unanticipated and unscheduled closures/cancellations.
