The Canadian Chamber’s bursary may be awarded each year, up to a maximum amount of $2,000 each for up to ten chambers/boards of trade, to cover the costs of registration, accommodation at the conference hotel and round trip air fare or ground transportation. Receipts must be provided to support bursary claims.

Procedures
  • Applications are made through our online portal and must be received by 4:00 p.m. ET on August 1, 2024.
  • Successful recipients will be notified by August 15, 2024.
  • Only member chambers of commerce/boards of trade in good standing with the Canadian Chamber are eligible to apply.
  • Bursaries will be awarded at the discretion of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce AGM organizing committee.
  • Online applications must be accompanied by a maximum 300 word explanation that clearly states the reason the bursary is needed, how participating in the AGM & Convention will benefit the individual and/or organization and describes your organizations engagement with the Canadian Chamber Network over the past year, including Chamber 2025 programs and the policy resolution process.
  • Successful recipients may be asked to participate in promotion of the bursary program through on-stage and/or video presentations at the AGM & Convention.
