The goals of the David Bird Fellowship program are to:

1) provide opportunities for recent Conway graduates to further develop their design and planning skills by undertaking public service projects outside the United States;

2) engage and support agencies and public service non-governmental organizations in such projects; and

3) enhance Conway’s graduate program and benefit current students by having returning David Bird Fellows in residence at Conway.

* 5. For what expenses specifically would you use the $5000 stipend? The stipend may be used for traveling to and from the project country and in-country expenses, as well as student loan repayment during the time of the fellowship.
