Being wants to know about your experiences with the NDIS, so that we can better advocate for the things that are important to you.

We are currently holding face to face consultations about the NDIS, as well as this online survey for people to provide their insights and views into the NDIS and mental health. This is an open survey with no time limit, so that you are able to give us your feedback whenever it suits you. This is because we want to continue advocating for an NDIS that supports people with psychosocial disability and a mental health system that works well with the NDIS to ensure people have access to timely and appropriate services. We may update this survey from time to time based on feedback received and the continued NDIS roll out.

This survey asks questions about: experiences of the NDIS, how the introduction of the NDIS has affected you, supports provided by the NDIS, what Being should focus our advocacy on and what you hope to get out of the NDIS.

Who is this survey for?

This survey is for everyone, whether you are an NDIS participant or not. While Being is based in NSW, this survey is open to anyone in Australia, and we encourage you to participate regardless of your location.  Please note as Being is a peak body for NSW majority of our policy work is at the NSW Government level, however we will still be able to use your feedback.  All answers will be kept anonymous.

If you have any questions about this survey or would like to provide feedback in a different way (such as via telephone) please contact the Being policy team at or phone (02) 9332 0200.
