Application Package Checklist
1. Completed application form.
2. Cover letter describing your interest in industrial or toxicologic pathology and the externship to which you have been accepted. Include information on:
- your background (including previous externship experiences),
- your goals for the experience, and
- a brief description of the externship (including location, dates, activities)
3. Curriculum vitae (including current GPA or class rank)
4. Brief statement of acceptance for an externship by an STP member representative at the proposed laboratory/company (externship coordinator).
5. Letter of recommendation (enclosed in a sealed envelope or sent directly). This should not be from the externship coordinator.
6. Confirmation of current applicant enrollment/good standing from the department chair/school.
Annual Deadlines
(Applications must be submitted prior to the beginning of the externship and postmarked by the dates below)
