Program Summary
Effective building operation is essential for a building to perform optimally. Efficient buildings are only efficient when managed to utilize the systems appropriately. Training of building operators will give the staff needed skills to reduce the energy use in their building through operational and equipment changes.

To address these issues EGLE Energy Services will offer financial incentives to reduce the registration costs of training for operators of public and non-profit buildings in Michigan. Project work must be completed between the establishment of a grant agreement with EGLE and 8/31/2024.

Eligibility Requirements
Any organization is eligible to apply.

Funding Amount
A total of $20,000 is expected to be made available for this funding opportunity. Each eligible operator is eligible to receive $400 in training cost assistance.

Award Process
Submitted applications will go through an evaluation and risk assessment. Selected applicants will be sent a grant agreement that depicts the terms and conditions of the award. EGLE WILL NOT FUND ANY PROJECT WORK THAT HAS STARTED BEFORE A GRANT AGREEMENT HAS BEEN MADE AND EXECUTED.
