GENERAL INFORMATION
- Open to all individuals with I/DD supported by a Chapter of The Arc New York
- No entry fee required
- One entry per artist will be permitted
- All artwork must be suitable for displaying in a public environment
- Artwork must be original and owned by the artist
- Entry form must be completed by Friday, July 28, 2023
- A digital image of the entry and artist is requested at the time of submission
ENTRY AND ART SHOW INFORMATION
All artwork will be shown during the virtual presentation on September 28th. A digital image of the entry and a photo of the artist is requested at the time of submission, or can be emailed to Christina Canino at caninoc@thearcny.org.
This year, all entrants will be judged in one of three categories. Artists may submit the piece of their choice and depict the category they wish to be judged: Nature, Abstract, or Alternative Mediums or Subjects.
Winners of the Art Competition will be selected and notified prior to the virtual presentation. A first place of $200, second place of $100, and third place of $50 will be awarded for each category. Awards will be presented during the virtual presentation.
Entrant retains ownership and all rights to submitted artwork; however, by entering the contest, entrants grant The Arc New York permission, royalty-free, to publish submitted artwork on the website, newsletter and to reproduce images for promotional purposes only. As conditions of this permission, The Arc New York will credit all artwork with the artist’s name.
