Man and Woman of the Year Nomination

Please review the requirements below BEFORE submitting your nomination to make sure your nominee is qualified to receive this award:

Nominees MUST NOT hold elected office or be a candidate for office at the time of nomination or the award ceremony
Nominees should exemplify community involvement outside the scope of their job responsibilities and be involved in more than one volunteer effort or organization
Multiple nominations for the same individual are accepted, so encourage others who know this person to nominate them as well.

The Man & Woman of the Year Awards are selected by a committee of former winners. Factors considered when making the selections include:

Length of service in the community
If the nominee's primary service/volunteer work directly benefits the Arvada community and if the work has made/is making a sustained impact
How the nominee displays outstanding ethical conduct and integrity and represents Arvada in a positive light

We always accept nominations for Man and Woman of the Year, however, the deadline for a nominee to be considered for the 2025 Man or Woman of the Year to be recognized at the 2026 event will be February 13, 2026 at 5pm.

If your nominee does not qualify for Man & Woman of the Year, but is still worthy of an award, consider nominating them for the Image Award. This award recognizes individuals who are the epitome of a POSITIVE IMAGE in our community. These individuals have gone above and beyond to make the lives of others and our community a better place.
