Help Shape the Design of Crimson Forest Common!

Introduction

Crimson Forest Common, located at 80 Crimson Forest Dr. near Dufferin Street and Marc Santi Boulevard, is being expanded to better serve the local community and you can help shape what comes next.

The park currently includes open greenspace and seating, which were completed as part of the new subdivision development.

Based on guidelines and targets in the City’s Active Together Master Plan 2018 (PDF), the City of Vaughan is now looking to build the rest of the park, west of the existing area, which may include a:

junior and senior playground
half-sized basketball court
multi-use lawn
shade structure

Additionally, a local off-leash dog area is being considered for this location.

Before the plans are finalized, we would like your input on how these amenities are designed, as well as how you would use these spaces.

Instructions

This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will cover the following topics:

Use of nearby parks
Playground equipment
Basketball vs. open space
Gathering space with shade structure
Local off-leash dog area
