Share your Point of Care Testing Quality practices!
Since 2016, Point of Care Testing Quality Control in the United States has been governed by the new IQCP (individualized quality control plan). In the past two years, very few studies and very little data has been collected or shared about how quality control practices have changed since IQCP became law.
This survey is an attempt to understand the quality control practices at the Point of Care, Near-Patient Testing, and Rapid Diagnostics. This area of medical testing continues to expand, without sufficient scrutiny of how QC should be conducted. These results will be (ideally) published in a scientific journal, as well as be shared with the public on the Westgard websites.
To encourage more participation and responses, we are raffling off 10 advanced copies of the 2019 Poor Lab's Guide to the Regulations to those who complete the survey. (fine print: these copies will be sent in early 2019).
*please note: this survey is only open to laboratories, not consultants, vendors or manufacturers
