Education : BCS / MCS, MIT, MBA (MIS)

Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall management of the Fatimafert IT department Functions. (including operations, computer hardware, operating systems, communications, software applications, migration from legacy AS/400 systems to Oracle EBS, MIS Reports, DR Provisioning resources management).
  • IT-Resource Management & Administration, Planning and Resource Mobilization for IT Service Desk Support as well as for AS/400 ERP applications support and Security Management of Application Servers (IBM iSeries, AS/400) at ERO & Plant Site
  • Coordination with Internal Information Security & Governance Team for implementation of ISMS Policies at ERO & Plant Site and support in respective Gap Analysis, Audit Plans, Internal & External Audits.
  • Planning, Budgeting & Documentation of IT Projects (ERO & Plant Site).
  • Determination of current and future IT needs of Fatimafert by consulting with management at all levels about the current work systems and deciding how improvements could be made and Migration of IBM iSeries AS/400 Application onto Oracle EBS system with close coordination with ERP Support Team.
  • Exploration of Disaster Recovery Planning & Documentation, Provisioning of DR Solutions for AS/400 Systems and Applications, and Solutions for AS/400 Applications Historical Data for future Records Management
  • Ensuring smooth Delivery of IT Systems, Operations, Services and Service Desk Support at Fatimafert Limited offices (ERO & Plan.

Skills / Abilities / Knowledge
  • IT operations and support expertise is required
  • Extensive knowledge of Internet Servers & Operating Systems
  • Oracle EBS Solutions Deployment
  • Knowledge & Experience of ERP Systems Migration
  • Knowledge of IBM AS/400 Systems and related Operations
  • Understanding of all network equipment like switches & routers
  • Knowledge SLA Management, Vendors Management, Outsourcing of IT Services
  • Knowledge Incident Management, Change Management & Service Desk Management,
  • Strong understanding of hardware/software specifications & outcomes;
  • Knowledge of Active Directory & DNS, LAN & WAN Networks, VPNs
