Project Purpose
Bigstone Cree Nation applied for and successfully received funding through the Lands and Economic Development Service Program. This funding will support the completion of a 5-year Strategic Economic Development Plan. The final plan will include key activities and measures of success that will guide the Nation in future decision making.
Bigstone Cree Nation applied for and successfully received funding through the Lands and Economic Development Service Program. This funding will support the completion of a 5-year Strategic Economic Development Plan. The final plan will include key activities and measures of success that will guide the Nation in future decision making.
As part of the plan, we are engaging Nation members through this survey. The survey aims to collect input from the Nation members on their economic vision and priorities.
The survey is open from December 3rd- December 21st, 2020.
Why Participate?
Your perspective is valuable and important to understanding and defining the Nation’s economic priorities and vision, as well as actions that can be taken to support them.
Participation is voluntary and should take approximately 15 minutes of your time. In exchange for your participation, you will all be included in a draw for a pre-paid Visa of $50-dollar value. You can enter your name into the draw at the end of the survey.
Who is Conducting the Survey?
Ballad, an Alberta-based consulting firm, will be conducting the survey in collaboration with the Bigstone Cree Nation Project Steering Committee. The project lead is EDO Dan Sparklingeyes.
How Will Your Data be Used?
The personal information collected in this survey will be kept confidential and will not be shared with the Project Steering Committee. The collated results of this study may be shared publicly – with no identities attached to the information.
