Survey for Parents of Special Needs Children who are not receiving a Full Day at School
Background & Context
All children deserve equitable access to education.
Unfortunately, some of our most vulnerable learners are not given the option of a full day at school. BCCPAC has heard from many parents and guardians whose children have either been denied a full-day at school, or who have been asked to take their children home after a behavioural incident.
The purpose of this voluntary survey is to explore how widespread this issue is across BC public schools. A summary of the survey results will be available to our members. Survey results will be shared with the Ministry of Education and help guide BCCPAC's advocacy work on this issue.
