Welcome to BBELT Special Edition: 30th AnniversaryThe Best of British English Language Teaching conference (BBELT) gathers ELT experts from the UK, Mexico and other parts of the world to share best practices in all areas of ELT.
In 2021, we will celebrate 30 years since BBELT was launched in 1991! We will celebrate with a Special (Online) Edition, expanding the conference to the Latin America region.
We expect to welcome over 1,500 conference delegates, including preschool, primary and secondary school teachers from both state and private schools, as well as high school and university teachers, teacher trainers, and teachers from language schools in Mexico and across the region.
This will be an opportunity to celebrate together and look back at techniques and theories we learnt during these years, reflect on experiences and results and then look to the future and our changing practices and needs.
The British Council is looking for teachers, trainers and other ELT professionals who would like to join us to mark this year´s conference by participating as speaker. Proposals will be selected on the basis of academic merit and evidence of careful planning.
