Dear Honors Professors,

We are on a deadline to have the Spring 2020 Honors Course Guide in its final form by October 10th We want your courses to fill; what you include about the course and yourself makes all the difference. 

What we need is a course description --not the generic Bannerspeak version, but one crafted for posting on our website (good advertisement for prospective students, by the way).   Students really do weigh their choices based on what they see in the guide. 

What we need by October 3rd at the latest (sooner would be much appreciated):

Your contact information
Title and course description
A short sketch “about the instructor” (maybe something about your academic and non-academic interests, your teaching style, something unexpected, intriguing) Samples:  http://honors.temple.edu/academics/course-guide - just hover over the course in the index and voilà!

If you want us to re-use what you’ve sent in before, just let us know.  If you are fine with the Banner description, go ahead and copy into the survey monkey, but we would still like ”about the instructor.”  The students appreciate reading about their prof and we like it better than RateMyProfessor.

If yours is a special topics course, please include the specific course title, and make sure that your department's scheduler includes the title on Banner (your Banner title can be more formal than your title for the Course Guide).
