Coram PACEY are collaborating with Speech and Language UK to adapt their Early Talk supporting communication and language training materials into a comprehensive training program specifically for childminders. We need your expertise to ensure the training is effective and engaging.
Speech and Language UK's current Early Talk training equips early years practitioners with the knowledge and skills to support the development of speech, language, and communication skills in children aged 0-5. The programme includes sessions that focus on typical language development , creating communication supportive environments , identification and support for children with speech and language challenges. With insights from childminders we plan to tailor the training to better suit the unique role of the childminder and working context. The findings of this survey will support us in the development of the associated training and resources.
