The Minister’s Recreational Fishing Advisory Council (MRFAC) are developing a Recreational Fishing Strategy for SA, on behalf of recreational fishers, to provide advice to the Government on priorities for the future of recreational fishing in South Australia.

The main goals of the Recreational Fishing Strategy for SA are to:
  • identify the most important priorities in the recreational fishing community
  • set short- and long-term goals that match these priorities
  • plan ways to achieve them.
A draft strategy is now available for review and feedback. To provide input:
  1. Review the draft Recreational Fishing Strategy for SA for 2021–2024.
  2. Complete the feedback form below.
By getting involved, you’ll help the MRFAC better understand the needs and interests of recreational fishers in South Australia so we can:
  • work towards common goals
  • agree on priority actions
  • best use resources.
The survey closes at 5.00 pm on Friday 30 April 2021.

Once the survey closes, MRFAC will review the feedback to consider how it may be addressed in the plan, which will be released later this year.
