Thank you so much for your interest in the 2026 FamilyU Seal! The FamilyU Seal is a national certification that recognizes nonprofit organizations that are directly serving parenting students and advancing positive outcomes. Building on Generation Hope’s mission to increase awareness and support of the student parent population, the FamilyU Seal seeks to inspire other organizations to invest in student parent success.
Any 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is directly serving parenting college students within the United States and its territories is eligible to apply for the FamilyU Seal. Organizations meeting the Seal criteria will earn the recognition, and there will be one exemplar organization selected to receive an award and $10,000 to advance their student parent efforts.
A few reminders before completing the application:
- Applications are due by 11:59pm ET August 14, 2026.
- Each organization must designate a Point of Contact who is authorized to complete and submit the application on behalf of their organization. The point of contact will field all correspondence related to the FamilyU Seal.
- Completion time for this application will vary depending on the information readily available to the POC completing the application.
- Ensure that you have reviewed the PDF version of the FamilyU Seal Application and the FAQ before beginning your application.
- Once you begin the application, you may save and come back, if needed. Please be sure to click "Save and Resume Later" and email yourself the link before closing the window.
- An application fee is required before submitting your application. This fee covers administrative costs associated with reviewing Seal applications.
- Organizations will be notified of selection in September 2026.
