Ranges for live fire - Directions to both facilities will be provided.

Saturday afternoon we will transition to the Prado Family Shooting Park. This is an outdoor range and you will need to dress for current weather conditions. A map will be provided.

Day two, Sunday the advanced course of fire will be held at an indoor range.
The location will be given on Saturday.
Arrive by 6:45am.

Qualifying Your Firearms:
You will need to bring EVERY firearm you are adding to your license both days.
Firearms used in the live fire training on Saturday and Sunday will require a holster and at least 3 magazines.
Example: Your firearm used on Saturday is qualified at completion of the dat. Sunday you can use and qualify a second firearm from holster.

All additional firearms not used during the two day live fire course will be qualified late Sunday afternoon. This static qualifier requires 2 magazines for each firearm and 20 rounds each. This does not require a holster.
Required Gear:
Live fire exercises Saturday and Sunday require:
• Center Fire Handgun(s)
• At least 3 magazines (or 3 speed leaders for revolvers)
• At least 200 rounds for each day
• Belt mount magazine carrier
• Suitable belt to hold the weight of your firearm and magazines
• IWB or OWB holster your firearm (inside waist band or outside waist band)
• A concealment garment (jacket, shirt, vest or other types of clothing to cover your firearm)
You may want to train with an open-front garment one day and closed front (T-shirt or sweatshirt) on the second day
• Weather appropriate clothing and shoes
• Tactical style flash light (day 2)
• Optional knee pads (day 2)
• Your NRA Member Number (if applicable)

Cautionary Note:
I strongly recommend against the use of Serpa style holsters as they have increased potential for personal injury.
Forbidden to be used in this course: Cross-draw, shoulder holsters, and Uncle Mike's nylon non-retention holsters
