Overview

Journalists from all media who want to improve their skills in science and environmental reporting and gain first-hand experience in the conduct of scientific research are invited to apply for a Metcalf Institute fellowship. The Annual Workshop fellowships support journalists who are interested in science and environmental reporting but have minimal or no science background, and who wish to gain a deeper understanding of scientific methods, contacts, and story ideas related to climate change and the coastal and marine environment.

Eligibility: See detailed instructions regarding eligibility and required inclusions at metcalfinstitute.org/training/awjeligibility and on the next page of this application.

Information and inclusions will be used to evaluate applicants and hard copies of application materials will not be returned.
