AURP requests nominations for 2025 Board of Directors:
  • In accordance with the AURP bylaws, there are currently nine (9) board seats available this year, including the seats of up-to-five incumbent members of the Board who may be standing for re-election. With nine openings on the board, per AURP bylaws, a minimum of eleven (11) candidates must be on the ballot.
  • The board shall consist of not less than nine (9) Institutional Regular or Sustaining Members and no more than eight (8) Corporate or Affiliate Members for a total of 17 Board members.
  • All AURP Institutional Members (Regular and Sustaining levels) plus Corporate or Affiliate Members, in good standing, may nominate themselves or others, for service on the Board.
  • Board service is for an initial term of three years, with a maximum of two three-year terms allowed.
  • The Nominating Committee will decide, using their discretion, which submitted nominations will be selected to appear on the ballot. The Committee's mission is to have a diverse board representing the broad range of our member institutions and their experience as well as gender, ethnicity, and nationality.
  • The nine candidates will be elected by the AURP membership and will commence their service as of the January 1, 2025.

IMPORTANT DATES
  • July 15 - Distribution of official ballot to AURP membership
  • July 30 - Make sure to cast your vote before the close of the voting period
  • August 16 - All candidates will be notified of their election status
  • September 27 – Hold New Board Member Orientation virtually
  • November 10 – AURP Board of Directors’ Meeting (2024 / 2025 board members) – AURP 2024 International Conference November 11-14
  • December 3 – Press Release announcing 2025 President, Officers and Board of Directors
  • December 11 – AURP Board of Directors’ Virtual Meeting - (2024 / 2025 board members) - approve of 2025 budget
  • January 1 – 2025 Board of Directors and Officers are activated
