The ATU Canada Inclusivity Committee is conducting this survey with ATU Canada members to identify barriers to full and meaningful inclusivity in ATU workplaces and unions.

Following the important data gathered from the ATU Canada Gender Equity Survey, the Committee is looking to gather insights about the experiences of members belonging to all identity groups, including ideological groups and those listed below:

Canadian Human Rights Code: 3 (1) For all purposes of this Act, the prohibited grounds of discrimination are race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family status, genetic characteristics, disability and conviction for an offence for which a pardon has been granted or in respect of which a record suspension has been ordered.

ATU Canada Harassment Policy grounds of prohibited discrimination: sex, race, age, creed, colour, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, political or religious affiliation, citizenship or place of national origin

Based on insights, themes, and patterns that emerge, the Committee will make recommendations to the ATU Canada board regarding a strategy to support all members more equitably.

Please note: All answers will be strictly confidential, unless otherwise discussed. Please spread widely in your unions.

Thank you!
