*There is a community event being held at Grange Hall Elementary School near the entrance to the zoo starting at 11 a.m. We encourage our ASK families to arrive at the zoo closer to the 10 a.m. start to avoid their traffic.
ASK kids and families: wear your ASK t-shirts so you can identify each other while you're wandering around the zoo!
All families will receive a voucher that can be used to purchase snacks and drinks at the Zoo shops. ASK will provide light refreshments at the picnic pavilion from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.
Please note: our friends at the Metro Richmond Zoo are very kind to provide discounted tickets for ASK to purchase and give to our families at no charge, but they are very clear with us that these passes are only for our ASK kids and their immediate family. Please help us respect our relationship with the zoo; if you have family and friends who don't live with you but who would like to join you, please purchase their tickets here.
COVID-19 Mask Policy: ASK social events and programs are now open to families with a child currently in active treatment. To keep our immunocompromised populations as safe as possible, indoor mask requirements will be decided based upon the CDC Covid-19 Community Level for the locality in which the event will take place, and will be disclosed prior to each event.
