Ready to provide an excellent learning experience?

ASGW will hold its biennial conference on February 17- February 20, 2022, at the One Ocean Resort & Spa at Atlantic Beach, Florida. The conference theme is, “Group Work Innovations in a Transforming World.” The world is facing major challenges that impact the ways in which groups come together and operate. As group workers, we embrace a culture of innovation to foster connections, social justice, and advocacy during these unprecedented times. This conference seeks to highlight creative and innovative group work examples that have positively impacted the profession at local and global levels.

Sessions will be offered in several formats including 50-minute interactive sessions, 20-minute research presentations, 20-minute case studies/consultation, and 15-minute poster sessions.

All presenters are expected to present sessions in-person on the assigned date and time. Lead presenters must be current, registered members of ASGW at the time of application submission. Only 2 applications for presentations may be submitted per individual. Presenters will receive a reduced conference rate of $295.

To ensure a review of your application, complete this form in its entirety to apply to be a presenter. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed or considered for inclusion in the conference. Please note that one must complete the application in one sitting as this platform does not allow for saving and returning to the application for later completion. At the time of submission, it is highly recommended that you print and/or save your submission for your records.

This Call for Proposals closes April 15, 2021. Proposal reviews will be completed, and acceptance notifications will be sent by May 31, 2021. Accepted presenters who have not registered by September 30, 2021, will be withdrawn from the program.
