This is an application form for ARETE Pilot 1 teachers. Applications are open for English primary school teachers from EU or H2020 associated countries.

Data protection
If selected, your data will be shared with the respective Ministry of Education. You agree to the data collection and processing:
Personal data collected via this application form will be used by EUN for the purpose of selecting ARETE Pilot 1 teachers. The data collected will be kept by EUN for 6 years after the completion of the project. Should you wish to exercise your right to correction, erasure or portability of your data or just wish to know what personal data we hold on you, please contact the Data Controller at privacy@eun.org; Internal Auditor EUN Partnership, Rue de Treves, 1040 Brussels.
 
If not selected, your personal data will not be shared outside EUN and it will be used only according to the purposes declared.  At the end of the form, if they wish, participants can agree to be included on a reserve list, should they wish to be contacted by EUN at a later date, if the opportunity to be involved in the ARETE pilots arises later in the project. Regardless of your response, your personal data will be deleted 2 years after the end of the selection process. Except where this is indicated in the terms and conditions of Survey Monkey, your information is not intended to be transferred to destinations outside of the EU/EEA (European Economic Area), although it may be accessible to parties outside the EU/EEA via online media and websites. You are an English teacher or Special Needs Assistant (SNA) active in primary school where English is the main teaching language.
You have a good working knowledge of English.
You are interested and experienced in using technology in your classes.
You are prepared to liaise with the parents of the participating pupils who will be invited to participate in the ARETE research, and with the parents of up to 5 pupils in your class who do not participate in the pilot, but agree to take part in the research.
You are comfortable using mobile applications in your teaching.
You have good Internet connection at home and at your school.

* 12. Pilot 1 involves only a limited number of pupils (usually 5-6 per class). Only those with average cognitive ability (with no significant visual or auditory deficits), who are underperforming in standardised literacy tests (< 25th Percentile Rank) are suitable to participate in research activities. I agree to the conditions specified in the Call.
I understand that the selection of ARETE Pilot 1 teachers will be carried out by European Schoolnet (EUN), and validated by Ministries of Education in corresponding countries.
I understand that it will be my responsibility for getting any permissions from the school, necessary for my involvement in the ARETE Pilot 1 and the completion of the tasks, if selected.
I understand that the Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between EUN and each selected ARETE Pilot 1 teacher which will include: 1) the description of tasks and benefits for pilot teachers, students and parents; 2) the description and purpose of the research being carried out within ARETE Pilot 1; 3) data management provisions, namely storing the consent forms of pupils and parents. 
I understand that EUN keeps the right to cancel completely or modify any of the conditions related to this call. No obligation will arise under this call until the Memorandum of Understanding has been signed by both EUN and the selected teacher.
I understand that EUN Partnership will not enter into any discussion regarding the results of the selection as well as that my application will be confirmed with my country's respective Ministry of Education.
I understand that to process my application, collection and storage of personal data (name, surname, email address) is necessary. This data will be used by EUN Partnership strictly for the purpose defined at the beginning of this form.
