Mental Health First Aid Training

The Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Community Services Board’s Prevention Services Division is offering an Adult Mental Health First Aid Training on Monday, Wednesday, April 5, 2017, from 8:30am-4:30pm, at Bay Transit Meeting Room, 5959 Fiddlers Green Rd., Gloucester.
This training requires registration. The purpose of MHFA is to promote a more in-depth understanding of mental health in families and communities. This 8-hour certification course assists family members, caregivers, school staff, health and human service workers, etc. to help adults and youth who may be experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis.
The number of participants is limited.  Materials are included. Lunch will be provided. Participant's registration is required.
There is no charge for this training.  This training is valued at $170 and it is funded through a grant from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS).
Cancellations will be accepted until Friday, March 31, 2017However, a fee of $25.00 will be charged for cancellations made after Friday, March 31, 2017, and/or for no-shows.
