The Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) continues to provide free professional development to principals and assistant principals statewide through the Alabama Principal Development System. The ALSDE asks you to complete this “Take 15” survey, which provides good data to inform professional learning in 2025-26. We want to know:

  • What are your leadership growing points?
  • What are the most important issues on your leadership agenda in 2025-26?
  • How would you like to connect with principals and other leaders statewide?
We’re asking these questions because we want to know how best to support your important work. You can answer these questions truthfully, with confidence that your responses are anonymous. No one will know that you completed the survey, and your individual answers will never be shared with others.

Please complete the survey from start to finish on your phone, computer or tablet. If you log out of the survey before completion, you will have to restart the survey. For questions, contact Dr. Matthew Clifford (mcliffo@wested.org) at WestEd, an independent and nonpartisan research organization that will analyze survey results.
