Did you know that the BC government has funds ready to invest in local child care? To support aligning the funding with needs, the Alberni Clayoquot Regional District is developing a regional child care plan, and wants to better understand how families in our region have engaged with child care. We want to provide the provincial government with facts, figures, and family experiences. We are curious to learn about the types of child care your family has used, any barriers your family has met along the way, and the ideal child care scenario for your family.
This survey is for you if you have children under 13 years of age who have accessed or will access child care. There are no right or wrong answers, and you may skip any question that you do not want to answer. All responses will be strictly confidential and will be aggregated and reported as anonymous. Survey responses will be used to help inform the ACRD's Child Care Plan, to be completed by end of 2019.
This survey should take 10-15 minutes to complete and there is an option to enter your name and phone number into a prize draw for a family fun pack at the end. The survey runs until July 31, 2019, and the family fun pack will be awarded in August.
Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective.
