The National PACE Association (NPA) is proud to announce the Call for Nominations for the inaugural 2025 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Award. This distinguished award honors a PACE organization that has demonstrated outstanding commitment, leadership, and innovation in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within its operations and the communities it serves.

Through this award, NPA seeks to recognize transformative work that fosters inclusive environments, dismantles barriers, and promotes systemic change. NPA believes that DEI is essential to ensuring an empowered, collaborative, and innovative culture—one that enriches both the experience of PACE participants and the satisfaction and fulfillment of PACE staff.

This award is presented under the guidance of NPA’s Council on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, which was established to elevate and address issues of equity and social and racial justice within the PACE community. The Council supports PACE organizations in implementing practices that reflect the principles of equity and inclusion and aims to celebrate those who lead the way in these efforts. We invite you to submit nominations of PACE organizations that exemplify the values of DEI through meaningful action and measurable impact. Let us honor and amplify the work of those who are helping shape a more equitable future for all.

Nomination Criteria: Eligible nominees must be PACE organizations that have implemented DEI strategies which meet the following criteria:

  • Leadership & Commitment: Demonstrated commitment to DEI at all levels of the organization, including leadership engagement and accountability.
  • Innovation & Creativity: Use of innovative and non-traditional approaches to advancing DEI, especially those that challenge the status quo and promote structural change.
